Ilagan residents benefit from dental and health services of local TV network
ILAGAN, Isabela, May 4 (PIA) -- At total of 102 residents from Cabisera 5, 9, and 14 in Ilagan, Isabela have availed of the free medical and dental mission from a local television network in the province for their patrol kalusugan program.
ABS-Cagayan Valley, in coordination with the medical and dental team of the 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, and the municipal health office personnel of local government unit of Ilagan, gave free medicines to the residents of the three villages of Ilagan.
A total of 72 residents availed the free tooth extraction and medicines while 30 children undergone circumcision during the April 28 medical and dental mission in Ilagan town.
Residents expressed thanks to the network for choosing their barangays to be the venue of the Kalusugan Patrol.
Cabisera 14 Barangay captain Maximiano Benedicto extended in behalf of his constituents to the TV network, his thanks and appreciation for bringing the health services for his constituents, as he considered it as a blessing especially those that cannot afford to pay for dental services and medicines.
The three barangays are several kilometers away from the poblacion.
The network also joined the Department of Labor and Employment 2 in its set labor day fair at Santiago City dubbed as Trabaho Patrol. (TCB/MGE-PIA Isabela)
