2,800 women in Biliran to participate in 2012 Provincial Women’s Congress

NAVAL, Biliran, March 3 (PIA) -- Some 2,800 will participate in the 2012 Biliran Provincial Women’s Congress come March 21 and 22 this year to be held at the Provincial Capitol grounds in Brgy. Calumpang, Naval, Biliran.

According to Dr. Cecil Espina, President of the Provincial Council for Women’s Welfare, the Women’s Congress in Biliran will be another interesting and a gathering full of experience for all women participants from the eight municipalities and 132 barangays and sitios in Biliran as this will be the time when they learn experiences from one another on how to increase family income, more livelihood ventures to support the basic needs of the children and the family and train children to become good members of the community, among others.
