NEGROS OCCIDENTAL, March 2 (PIA6) -- The provincial government-run Don Salvador Benedicto Memorial Hospital in La Carlota City received a P4-million worth of hospital equipment from International Hope Foundation through the Negros Occidental Rainbow Foundation, Inc.
Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo G. Marañon, Jr. signed the Deed of Donation and Acceptance of the hospital equipment and supplies donated to the provincial government.
The Don Salvador Benedicto Memorial Hospital in La Carlota City is the recipient of the donation that was shipped from Canada and those will be utilized for the benefit of the underprivileged and indigent-constituents of the province without monetary consideration from the provincial government.
The equipment and supplies include the following: 24 units of hospital beds, 1 operating table, 2 delivery tables, 1 oxygen carrier, 1 dental machine with dental chair, 4 walkers with wheels, 7 steel crutches, 32 pcs. mattresses, 3 hampers, 1 unit of suction apparatus; 6 wheelchairs, 2units of wheelchair with food trays, 5 bedside tables, 1 ambulance stretcher, 1 box of laparoscopic and various instruments, 4 walkers with wheels, 1 baby scale, 1 BP apparatus, 3 units of IV stands, 2 units of footstool, 1 sterilizer, 1 overhead lamp, 3 commodes, 3 leg braces, 1 OR light stand, 4 crutches, 1 box of neck collars and hand braces, 10 canes, 1 surgical table, and assorted consumable hospital supplies.
Marañon expressed gratitude to the donors for their generosity and kindness.
