MANILA, May 20 (PIA) -- The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the United States (US) are expanding their energy cooperation through the US-ASEAN Vehicle Fuel Efficiency Workshop held in Jakarta, Indonesia last week.
The workshop was conducted to address ASEAN’s oil use for road transport which is forecast to grow rapidly in future years and potentially bringing serious economic, environmental and energy security consequences for member states.
