MimaropaComNet to conduct newswriting workshop for info officers

QUEZON CITY, Aug 20 (PIA) -- Officers and members of the Mimaropa Communicators Network (MimaropaComNet) will undergo basic newswriting seminar-workshop in October.
ComNet officers led by president Elaine Paredes met last Friday to discuss plans and projects for the last quarter, one of which was the holding of the writing workshop on October 11-12, in time for the association's last quarter general assembly.
The modules of the workshop will include discussions on the role of government information officers, the basic principles and techniques of writing news for print, tv and radio and public relations practices.
“MIMAROPAComNet members can expect more activities like this, because we recognize the need of our members to enhance their communication skills. This is only the beginning, there will be more in the coming days,” Paredes said.
MIMAROPAComNet has members composed of information officers from the various government regional offices of Region 4B. (LBR-PIA4B)
