Quezon disaster council, SM City Lucena accept donations for flood victims

LUCENA CITY, Quezon, Aug 11 (PIA) -- The Quezon Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) is accepting donations for flood victims in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
Dr. Henry Buzar of Quezon PDRRMC said donations such as old/used clothes, canned goods and cash may be forwarded to the office of the provincial governor, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, or at the PDRRMC office at the ground floor, provincial capitol building, Lucena City.
SM City Lucena, on the other hand, accepts donations through their "Operation Tulong" for flood victims at the ground floor of the said mall.
Buzar said Quezon PDRRMC also sent rescue teams in San Mateo, Rodriguez and Cainta, Rizal to rescue or assist flood victims. (RO-PIA 4A, Quezon)
