Electronics firm donate educational grants to day-care centers in Carmona

CARMONA, Cavite, Aug 31 (PIA) -- A total of 320 pupils from five day care centers benefited from donations by a Kyoto-based electronics company as part of their corporate and social responsibility to the community.

ROHM Electronics Philippines Inc. (REPI) which is located at the People’s Technology Complex at the Special Economic Zone in Barangay Maduya donated 5 sets of colored television sets, Digital Versatile Discs (DVD) players, ceiling fans, educational DVDs, crayons and coloring books to five Carmona day-care centers.

The day-care centers in barangays Cabilang Baybay, Maduya, Milagrosa, Phase 2 and Phase 3 were the beneficiaries of the grants by the company. REPI Administrative Manager Jimmy Erica led the turnover of some of the educational grants in Milagrosa day-care center.

Meanwhile, the local government acknowledged the efforts made by the officers and staff of the company in assisting and providing the necessary tools for the future of the pupils at the day care centers as REPI has always been consistent in giving gifts and medical missions to the residents of this municipality.
