ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal, July 31 (PIA) -- More than 14,000 families from several barangays benefited from the rice distribution program of the Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines in coordination with the provincial government of Rizal.

Provincial officials headed by Rizal Gov. Jun Ynares, Vice Gov. Frisco San Juan Jr., Congressman Joel Duavit, and barangay captains of Antipolo joined Tzu Chi Foundation officials and volunteers in the distribution of rice to thousands of beneficiaries.

In addition, Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines which is a Buddhist compassion relief group, has responded to the medical needs of Rizal constituents through eye surgical missions and disaster relief operations in several parts of the province.
