PNP nabs eight wanted persons in Pampanga and Nueva Ecija
CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, June 14 (PIA) -- Eight wanted persons in the provinces of Pampanga and Nueva Ecija were nabbed by the Philippine National Police – Police Regional Office 3 (PNP-PRO3) through a series of manhunt operations.
Arrested wanted persons in Pampanga ware identified as Omar Bernardo for violation of Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 with recommended bail of P80,000 for his temporary liberty; Melvin Poblete for Estafa with recommended bail of P34,000; Albert Carreon for theft with recommended bail of P12,000; and Noel Bituin for Violation of Section 3, Proclamation Decree 953 or “Penalizing unauthorized cutting, destruction, damaging and injuring of certain trees, plants and vegetation,” with recommended bail of P4,000.
Meanwhile, in Nueva Ecija, police operatives arrested Flordeliza Lopez for Estafa, with bail fixed at P40,000; Percival Torres for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness in relation to RA 7610 or the “Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act,” with bail of P12,000; Romy Villamar for theft with bail of P6,000; and Raven Carpio for the crime of frustrated homicide with recommended bail of P24,000.
For his part, PNP-PRO3 Regional Director PCSUPT Edgardo Ladao said, “our agency had accomplished this through aggressive campaign in our regional office.”
