PNP-12 TRAINS 200 POLICE OFFICERS ON COMBAT PREPARENESS

GENERAL SANTOS CITY, May 24 (PIA) -- Two hundred police non-commissioned officers (PNCO) underwent a Special Counter-Insurgency Operation Unit Training (SCOUT) course to enhance their tactical skills to combat potential threats in their respective areas of responsibility (AOR).
The 45-day training, which was conducted by the Police Regional Office (PRO) 12 on May 9 at PRO 12 Headquarters here, will end by mid-week of June.
PInsp. Benjamin Mauricio Jr., public information officer of PRO-12 said, “the training aims to enhance the combat readiness and capability of Philippine National Police (PNP) in counter-insurgency.”
