DOLE IMPLEMENTS NEW RULE ON SUBCONTRACTING MANPOWER SERVICES

MAASIN CITY, Southern Leyte, May 15 (PIA) -- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will see to it that private companies and government agencies engaged in manpower services such as janitorial and security personnel in behalf of a principal employer would follow the new regulation governing sub-contracting.
Under Department Order No. 18-A series of 2011, subcontractors must pay DOLE P25,000 as registration fee and must have a substantial paid-up capital in the amount of P3 million, according to DOLE regional director Exequiel Sarcauga.
