MALNUTRITION CASES IN ZAMBO DROP

ZAMBOANGA CITY, July 24 (PIA) –- Cases of malnutrition in the city has dramatically dropped to 797 from 1,268, City Health Office (CHO) here reported.
According to CHO, this data was the result of the health office’s “operation timbang” conducted in the various barangays of the city.
CHO Nutrition Division Chief Virgie Sagrado said the impressive fell down of the incidence of malnutrition in children may be attributed to CHO’s effort on health and nutrition.
“CHO is constantly giving feeding programs in barangays where incidence of malnutrition is high,” Sagrado said.
