LUNGSOD NG KORONADAL, South Cotabato, Marso 5 (PIA) -- Lalo pang isinusulong ngayon ang implementasyon ng Motorcycle Helmet Act sa lungsod ng Kidapawan, North Cotabato.
Ito ay matapos makapagtala ang Kidapawan City PNP traffic section ng mataas na bilang ng mga motoristang naaaksidente na walang suot na helmet.
Nabatid na marami pa rin ang lumalabag sa naturang batas at ito ang kalimitang dahilan kung bakit matindi ang pinsalang natatamo ng mga motorista o di kaya ay binabawian ng buhay ang mga ito.
Kaugnay nito, nanawagan ang Kidapawan PNP traffic section sa mga motorista na ugaliing magsuot ng helmet habang binabaybay ang kalsada.
