BUTUAN CITY, March 7 (PIA) -- To strengthen its efforts in reducing the volume of garbage here, the city government launched recently, “Ang Pagbutwa Hong Balangay or From Waste to Work of Art,” through a simple ceremony at the old Sangguniang Panlungsod Building inside the city hall complex. In his message, Mayor Ferdinand M. Amante Jr. encouraged everyone, especially the teachers, to start instilling into the minds of the children the importance of cleanliness.
