NEGROS OCCIDENTAL, Feb. 27 (PIA) - - The National Statistics Office here celebrated and concluded the celebration of the 23rd Civil Registration Month with various activities highlighted by mass weddings.
The celebration is pursuant to Proclamation No. 682 issued by former President Corazon Aquino on January 28, 1991 declaring February as the Civil Registration Month.
This year’s theme "Civil Registration, Bringing Public Service Closer to the People" is appropriate to the thrust of the national government to give people access to government services.
