TUBOD, Lanao del Norte, Feb. 12 -- The Lanao del Norte Girl Scout Council recently hosted the 23rd Girl Scout Western Mindanao Regional Encampment at the sprawling Mindanao Civic Center Sports Complex, Sagadan, Tubod on February 1 to 5. Close to 2,300 girl scouts attended the regional encampment, with 900 campers coming from the Lanao del Norte district. This was the most attended encampment in the region since 2009.
