CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, April 30 (PIA) -- The National Statistics Office (NSO) during a news conference here reported that 94.4 percent or nine out of 10 persons in region 10 are employed in the first quarter of the year.
Dr. Marilou B. Igdon, NSO regional director and Dr. Janith C. Aves, Misamis Oriental provincial statistics officer said it is important to do a quarterly labor force survey to monitor the employment rate in the region.
NSO said Northern Mindanao has the highest Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) among the regions with 68.5 percent, while the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao had the lowest LFPR with 58.1 percent.
