PNP, AUSTRALIAN POLICE INK MOU VS TERRORISM, TRANSNATIONAL CRIMES

QUEZON CITY, Oct 4 (PIA) -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) recently forged a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to fight transnational crime and strengthen police cooperation at the same time.
In a release, PNP chief Nicanor A. Bartolome and AFP Commissioner Tony Negus signed the MOU Tuesday in Canberra, Australia.
“This agreement marks a new beginning in bilateral relations between the police forces of the Philippines and Australia under the spirit of international cooperation among police agencies in the Asia-Pacific region,” Bartolome said.
