SOCIAL WELFARE HEAD URGES COMMUNITIES TO HOLD DISASTER RISK REDUCTION ACTIVITIES

QUEZON CITY, Jan. 26 (PIA) -- Communities must test and practice their disaster risk reduction and management plans to save lives and properties, the head of the Department of Social Welfare and Development said Friday. Secretary Corazon Juliano Soliman made the call following the recent launching of the Typhoon Bopha/Pablo Revised Recovery Plan of Action at the Department of Foreign Affairs.
