ILIGAN CITY, Lanao del Norte, May 17 (PIA)-- The host region, Mindanao, emerged as overall champion in the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) 1st Lineman's Skills Competition held at the Lineman's Academy in Maria Cristina, Iligan City on April 23 to 25, 2013.
Four teams composed of 14 linemen coming from several districts in North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas , and Mindanao competed during the three-day event.
After such intensive and exhilarating competitions, the Mindanao Region garnered a total of six gold medals, two silver medals, and two bronze medals.
