(Smart) and the Corporate Network for Disaster Response (CNDR) have conducted a training for community residents of Barangay Candau-ay in Dumaguete City to prepare them against flooding amid the onset of the rainy season. Barangay Candau-ay, a flood-prone community with about 6,400 residents was the hardest hit when Typhoon Sendong struck in December 2011.
