FAMILIES, COMMUNITIES URGED TO TAKE PART IN FIGHT VS TRAFFICKING

DAVAO CITY, Dec. 13 (PIA) -- Families and communities were urged to actively take part in the efforts of combating human trafficking as the nation observed yesterday the International Day Against Trafficking in Persons.
Malou Bermudo, chief of the Davao City Social Services and Development Office (CSSDO), emphasized the crucial role of families and communities including the barangay councils to help prevent residents from falling prey to traffickers.
