NSO REPORTS LATEST MIMAROPA POPULATION COUNT

CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro, May 19 (PIA) -- The National Statistics Office (NSO) provincial office has disclosed recently that the population count from the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), which reflects that the total population of Mimaropa region in 2010 was counted at 2,744,671 persons based on the NSO’s recent report. This translates to an annual growth rate of 1.79 percent from the 2000 population of 2,299,229. 2010 census reveals East Visayas population hits 4.1M
TACLOBAN CITY, Leyte, May 7 (PIA) -- The results of the 2010 Census of Population and Housing have revealed that the total population of Eastern Visayas is now 4,401,322 as of May 1, 2010. NAVAL, Biliran, April 27 (PIA) –- The National Statistics Office (NSO) in Biliran revealed that the total population of the province as of May 1, 2010 is 161,760, based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing.
