DAVAO CITY, June 17 (PIA) -- An officer of the Department of Science and Technology XI expressed readiness in putting in place its early warning devices in Davao region to forecast occurrence of floods and bad weather early in July, 2013.
Eric Colmenares, science research specialist of the Department of Science and Technology XI said the equipment comprises four automated rain gauges and three automated weather stations will be used to warn residents of imminent danger as offshoot of heavy downpour like flash floods.
