DepEd teachers receive lapel microphones

BACOOR, Cavite, April 11 (PIA) -- About 1,350 public school teachers received lapel microphones from the local government to enhance their teaching methods and communicate more clearly and more effectively to their students.

The distribution of the said equipment was held at the town plaza during the regular flag raising ceremony.

Mayor Strike Revilla who is also the National President of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines led the distribution of the lapels which are considered as useful teaching instruments for teachers.

Department of Education (DepEd)-Bacoor led by Dr. Manlangit, DepEd District 1 supervisor expressed their gratitude to Mayor Revilla and other local officials for their continued assistance for the betterment of the institution and for the teachers.

The distribution was witnessed by Congresswoman Lani Mercado Revilla, Sangguniang Bayan members, DepEd District 2 Supervisor Dr. Susdan Guinto, Bacoor National High School Principal IV Dr. Anita V. Rom, principals and teachers.

Bacoor is believed to be one of the first municipalities nationwide to have taken this initiative to make teaching a more enjoyable task.

The local government of this soon-to-be-city is continuously implementing several programs meant to benefit the education sector which is attuned to President Aquino’s Philippine Development Plan.

The latest is the construction of a school building in phase 3 of Malipay in Barangay Molino 4. The two-storey, 4-classroom building is set to be completed in time for the opening of classes this coming June. (CPG/Ruel Francisco, PIA-Cavite/Bacoor PIO)
