Wednesday 22nd of February 2012TAGAYTAY CITY, Cavite, February 22 (PIA) – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH Region IV-A) Cavite sub-district engineering office is inviting prospective contractors for various infrastructure projects in several municipalities in the province.
These various infrastructure projects are attuned to President Aquino’s commitment to the Filipino people by 'accelerating infrastructure development' not only in this province but in the whole country as well.
Bids and Awards Committee Chair Prescila R. Ramos announced that the two projects with a funding of P4,998,127.29 was the approved budget for the contract (based on the FY 2011 R.A. 10147 Regular 2011 CURRENT).
The first project is the concreting of various barangay roads in the town of Magallanes and asphalt overlaying in General Aguinaldo (package 003-2012) with a contract duration of 45 calendar days with an alloted budget of P1,999,112.13. The project is categorized as a major project under the roads-rehabilitation-PCCP/asphalt.
The second project is the construction of various canal linings in the towns of Indang, Maragondon and Naic (package 004-2012) with a contract duration of 75 calendar days with an allocated funding of Php2,999,015.16. This project is for flood control/hydraulics/drainage in the said area.
A Pre-Bid conference was already conducted last February 17 at the DPWH Cavite Sub-District Engineering Office in Tagaytay City.
Submission/deadlines of all the needed documents pertaining to the said projects are the following: receipt of Letter of Intent (LOI) - February 9 up to 24; Issuance of Bidding Documents to registered contractors - February 9 to 29; deadline for the Receipt of Bids, February 29 or until 10:00 am and the opening of Bids will on the same day at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
