OSYs avail training on computer and internet literacy

SAN PEDRO, Laguna, June 6 (PIA) -- Sixteen out-of-school youths (OSYs) from Barangay Poblacion in this municipality underwent a computer and internet literacy course organized by the management information system office of the provincial government.

The training which started last May 14 and ended June 1 focused on applications like Open Office and Linux Operating System facilitated through the use of a computer mobile school.

The Governor Jeorge “E.R.” Ejercito-Estregan’s computer mobile school has helped OSYs in far-flung barangays of the province computer literate.

The training is part of the “Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Development” program of Gov. Estregan under his “K2 Kinse Kumpleto Serbisyo Publiko Kontra Kahirapan at Gutom” program. (CPG/ACO-PIA 4A, Laguna)
