Woman nabbed for selling drugs

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Aug 6 (PIA) -- A woman was nabbed after selling illegal drugs in Barangay Poblacion, Norzagaray, Bulacan.

Police Regional Office Region 3 (PRO-3) said the suspect, 31, is a resident of the barangay.

Prior to the arrest of the suspect, the Municipal Police Station (MPS) of Norzagaray received information from a concerned citizen that there was an ongoing selling of illegal drugs in Barangay Poblacion. Th police conducted an anti-illegal drug operation where they captured the suspect.

Confiscated from the suspect were four pieces of small plastic sachets containing “shabu,” which were brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory Office for laboratory examination.

A criminal complaint against the suspect was prepared under Violation of Section 11 of Republic Act 9165 or Possession of Dangerous Drugs.

The suspect is currently detained at the Norzagaray Municipal Jail.

In a recent development, another suspect, also 31 years old, was arrested for violating section 15 or use of dangerous drugs of RA 9165 by the San Jose Del Monte (SJDM) City Police Station.

The suspect is a resident of Barangay Gumaoc East, SJDM City.

The suspect is presently detained in SJDM city jail for proper disposition. (RMB/JGB-PIA3)
