DFA-Angeles to open this August
ANGELES CITY, July 31 (PIA) -- The new satellite office of the Department of Foreign Office (DFA) in Angeles City will open August 1 at the third Level of Marquee Mall in Barangay Pulung Maragul, Angeles City.
Elmer Cato, DFA special assistant for special projects, said the new consular office, “will take over the operations of the former Clark satellite office, which is no longer serving the public and its operations temporarily absorbed by DFA San Fernando at Robinsons Starmills.”
It was learned that DFA-Angeles City could accommodate 10,000 passport applicants per day.
Two months ago, the DFA has also opened its new consular office with a 995-sq-m area located at Robinsons Starmills, in the city of San Fernando, where Rafael Seguis, DFA undersecretary for administration, graced the event.
The office has three areas: the processing, encoding, and releasing sections, and these are opened Mondays to Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
DFA-Angeles at Marquee Mall is the third mall-based DFA office. The first one is DFA Cebu at the Pacific Mall in Mandaue City, which was opened February, and the second is DFA-Pampanga at Robinsons Starmills in the city of San Fernando. (WLB/JGB-PIA3)
