Police all set for “Undas 2011”
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, October 31 -- In line with the annual observance of All Saints’ and All Souls ’Days on November 1 and 2, Police Regional Office 3 is in full alert to carry out its “IMPLAN KALULUWA 2011.”
Implan Kaluluwa is the yearly security preparations of the Philippine National Police to ensure public safety and well-being during the traditional observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.
PCSupt Edgardo Ladao, PNP regional director, gave directives to all city/provincial directors from different police provincial/city police offices to strictly conduct checkpoint operations and bus terminal inspections starting on October 28 until November 3.
Motorists Assistance Centers were also established along major thoroughfares to help motorists who are traveling towards different provinces.
Meanwhile, today, October 31, PNP personnel will be deployed to different cemeteries within the region.
The Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams/Barangay Tanods have also been also deputized by the PNP to assist in the implementation of Implan Kaluluwa. (WLB/PIA-3)
