TESDA Specialista Technopreneurship program launched in Aglipay
AGLIPAY, Quirino, June 18 (PIA) -- The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) recently launched in this municipality the TESDA Specialista Technopreneurship Program (TSTP), a new program created to provide employment opportunities to TESDA's technological and vocational graduates.
Zenaida Tuliao, TESDA Specialist and provincial project coordinator, said at least 10 massage therapists have been provided with skills trainings and starter kits from TESDA.
“These massage therapists can now start accepting clients through home service or they can have their own massage parlors. For whole body massage, they can charge their clients with a minimal fee of P300; half body massage, P150; head, P50; hand, P50; back, P100, and foot spa, P100,” Tuliao said.
Tuliao likewise said that the TSTP will also be launched in Cabarroguis and it will benefit welders and machine mechanics.
The TSTP is in support to the Aquino administration’s Philippine Development Plan, specifically on competitive industry and services sectors, as well as in social development. (TCB-PIA 2, Quirino)
