Grid corp. announces power outage in Mt.Province, Kalinga, Ilocos Sur

BAGUIO CITY, May 27 (PIA) -- The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) announced a scheduled power interruption on Tuesday, May 29, in Mt. Province and parts of Kalinga and Ilocos Sur which are serviced by the Mt. Province Electric Cooperative.
According to Lilibeth P. Gaydowen, Regional Corporate Communication and Public Affairs Officer of North Luzon NGCP, the reason for the power interruption from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, is to replace selected wood poles with steel poles along Bulalacao-Mopreco 69kV transmission line.
Gaydowen said normal operations will immediately resume after work completion. Customers and the general public are advised to take necessary preparations and precautions for this scheduled interruption. (JDP-PIA CAR)
