Phl Bible Society invites students to Bible Run 2

QUEZON CITY, Jan 22 (PIA) -- The Philippine Bible Society (PBS) is inviting students to the “May They Be One (MTBO) Bible Run 2” on March 9 at the Quirino Granstand, Luneta Park, Manila.

The Bible Run 2 has 3K, 5K, and 10K categories, which all may be joined by students for a special rate of P250. Finishers may get NSTP (National Service Training Program) credit certificates.

Non-students may join in 3K and 5K for P350, and in 10K for P500.

The activity tailed last year’s first PBS running event where approximately 6,000 runners supported the goal of the MTBO advocacy campaign to give away five million bibles to five million deprived families.

This year’s run will feature colorful floats featuring biblical scenes and events.

The activity is co-organized by the Episcopal Commission for Biblical Apostolate of the Catholic bishops Conference of the Philippines, the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches, and the National Council of Churches in the Philippines.
