Aug 9 classes suspended in MM, Luzon provinces
QUEZON CITY, Aug 8 (PIA) -- Malacanang has announced the suspension of classes tomorrow in Metro Manila and nearby provinces in Luzon due to heavy rains and flooding.
Executive Secretary Paquito N. Ochoa Jr. issued on Wednesday night Memorandum Circular 34 suspending all classes August 9 in all levels including postgraduate courses in the National Capital Region and in the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, and Rizal.
Malacanang said there will be work in national government and private offices. (PIA-Central)
