Road works along South Superhighway on this weekend
MANILA, August 18 (PIA) -- Road improvement works in Metro Manila continue this weekend as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) takes on the northbound lane of the South Superhighway.
DPWH said road works along South Superhighway (Osmeña Highway) northbound lane near Magallanes Interchange will begin at 10:00 p.m. of August 17, Friday until August 21, Tuesday.
The DPWH advises motorists to expect possible traffic build-up near the area and may take Pasong Tamo Extension and C.P. Garcia Avenue (C-5) as alternative routes.
The repaired portion will be opened to traffic on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 5:00 a.m. (DPWH/RJB/JEG-PIA-NCR)
