Pag-IBIG Fund to issue Transaction Card
CEBU CITY April 26 (PIA) --- The Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) Cebu South Branch announced that effective June 1, 2012, the Fund will issue to its members a transaction card for them to use when dealing with Pag-IBIG transaction.
The Transaction Card will be available to all members who already have the Pag-IBIG Employer’s ID No., Registration Tracking No. (RTN) and Pag-IBIG Membership Identification (MID) No.
In line with this, Pag-IBIG Fund Cebu South is requesting its members to provide a copy of their latest Member’s Contribution Remittance Form (MCRF) reflecting the Pag-IBIG Employer’s ID No., RTN, and MID numbers.
Employers and employees who do not have the RTN can register online via the Pag-IBIG Fund On-line Employer Registration System at www.pagibigfund.gov.ph.
The Fund is also seeking employer’s assistance in informing their employees to register through the On-line Membership Registration System specifically workers who do not have their Pag-IBIG MID/RTN.
Pag-IBIG Member Services Officer 1V and Public Information Officer Van Pepito urged members for their immediate registration because non-registration in the system may lead to delays in transactions with Pag-IBIG.
“Non registration may cause delays in transacting with us since our system will now be based on Pag-IBIG MID/RTN. Our online registration system is just an initial move because we aim to have our transactions from payments to remittance and processing of loans and other documents be based on our online system,” Pepito stressed.
He also added that it is necessary for members to indicate their Pag-IBIG Employer’s ID No./RTN and employees’ Pag-IBIG MID No./RTN in their Member’s Contribution Remittance Form (MCRF) in the process of remitting membership contribution and /or loan amortization to avoid inconvenience, fast track the processing of documents, and accurate posting of payments.
Pepito called on on employers to urge their newly-hired employees to register online with the Fund before initial remittance.
