Pangasinan bloodletting set on June 20

DAGUPAN CITY, June 20 -- The Pangasinan provincial health office (PHO) is calling on volunteers for a bloodletting activity that will be held on June 20.
Health education promotion officer Christina C. Alcantara said the activity will be held at the Provincial Training and Development Center, Capitol Complex in Lingayen town, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Donors must be between 18 to 65 years old.
The activity, which centers on the theme "Dugo Mo, Dugtong ng Buhay Ko," is a joint project of the provincial government and the Red Cross.
The activity aims to address the anticipated demand for blood due to the expected rise in dengue cases this rainy season, she said during the Pantotongan Tayo radio program of the Philippine Information Agency over DZMQ Radyo ng Bayan on Tuesday.
