TABUK CITY, Kalinga, Aug.8 (PIA) -- The provincial government will dispose all unserviceable vehicles and equipments junked on its premises.

Acting Governor Allen Jesse Mangaoang directed the General Services Office (GSO), members of the disposition committee and other concerned offices to work out the disposition of said vehicles junked at the back of the legislative building and equipments rotting on corners.

The unserviceable vehicles are rotting on an open space since the provincial government lacks a motor pool for their safekeeping. The provincial engineering office was asked to establish a motor pool but the disposition shall push through while a motor pool has not been constructed.

Mangaoang said “let us not wait that the junked vehicles and unserviceable equipments rot or some parts or the whole disappear when we can dispose them of for the provincial government to gain revenue out of their sale,” he said.

“While we are maintaining zero-garbage at Capitol, keeping junked vehicles in an open space is an eyesore to the public especially to clients and visitors,” Mangaoang said. (PAB/PIA-CAR/Kalinga)
