DILG-10 offers mass for Secretary Robredo

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, August 24 -- The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG)-10 offered a holy mass at the DILG Regional Office, Conference Room yesterday afternoon for the late Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo.

The mass was officiated by Fr. Casi Quiacao, an active Parochial Vicar of St. Francis Xavier Chaplaincy.It was attended by the staff of DILG Region 10, headed by Regional Director Atty. Rene K. Burdeos.

Also joining in prayer were the Regional Directors and staff of Philippine National Police (PNP), National Police Commission (Napolcom), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

Director Burdeos announced that he will be attending the necrological service on August 24, at Malacañang Palace where Secretary Robredo’s remains will be brought.

Burdeos earlier shared that Secretary Robredo was a dedicated public servant and a champion of good governance whose track record in public service has been an inspiration to all those who believe in government as an instrument for positive change.
