4ID holds transformation roadmap confab

CAMP EVANGELISTA, Cagayan de Oro City, July 12 -- Army's 4th Infantry “Diamond” Division concluded the cascading seminar-workshop for the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR) here at the Division Clubhouse yesterday, July 11.

This three-day seminar workshop aims to impart the total concept and principle of the ATR to the lowest units of the Philippine Army. The participants were taught on how to come up with objective-based solutions out of problems, which will make the organization better, dynamic, responsive, capable and professional army committed to its mandate of serving the people and securing the land.

The ATR is an 18-year program with the vision of having a world class army by the year 2028.

This activity was attended by 60 participants coming from all units under 4th Infantry “Diamond” Division.

The technical working group who facilitated the said workshop was headed by Col. Adriano Perez Jr, Executive Officer of OG5 (plans and programs), Philippine Army, together with Ltc. Rommel Cordova, Maj. Vince James Bantilan, OG2 (intelligence) and Maj. Ruel Rombaoa of OG7 (civil military operations), Philippine Army.

“I greatly appreciate the efforts of higher headquarters sending here the technical working group from the Army. This workshop surely enhanced and improved the knowledge of our officers and soldiers regarding the Army Transformation Roadmap.
