Municipal LGUs to receive Bronze Seal of Housekeeping

BORONGAN CITY, Eastern Samar, Sept 13 (PIA) -- Eight municipal local government units are set to receive glass markers as symbol of the Bronze Award for Good Housekeeping.
Nida B. de la Cruz of the provincial Department of Interior and Local Government said this in an interview.
The awarding ceremony, which will also recognize the leadership of the provincial government of Eastern Samar, will be held on September 28 during the Peace Forum.
De la Cruz added that the Good Housekeeping Program, which was initiated by the late Secretary Jesse Robredo, is now on its second phase and the DILG is determined to continue the program.
The following LGUs are set to receive the 2ft. by 3.5 ft. glass markers, which they will have to install in their respective municipal halls: Balangiga, Guiuan, Hernani, Maydolong, San Julian, Sulat and Dolores.(PIA-8 Eastern Samar/aen)
