Activities for 34th NDPR Week bared

BORONGAN CITY, EASTERN SAMAR, July 5 (PIA) – The 34th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week will be observed here on July 17-23, with activities adapted from the list given by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)- central office in Manila.
One of the highlights of the celebration will be an art exhibit of the PWDs since most of them are painters, said Edmund Balan of the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO). The “Likhang PWD” opening ceremony and exhibit will be at the city hall lobby in the morning of July 17.
An Orientation forum on Accessibility Laws with Sensitivity Training is also expected to be held where PWDs can expect knowledge on the various laws which are favorable to them.
