DUMAGUETE CITY, July 14 (PIA) -- A student from a university in Dumaguete City is one of the finalists for the Top Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP).
Joshua Eleazar Domen, a 2012 graduate of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD), is among the 30 official finalists nationwide who will convene in Manila for a round of panel interviews.
The interview will determine this year’s national TOSP awardees, said SPUD Director for External Affairs Arbon Duhaylungsod.
Duhaylungsod said Domen sat as the president of the university’s Supreme Student Government and was one of the country’s official delegates to the Conference on Volunteerism in Malaysia being an active volunteer for different community outreach services in the province.
He also participated in Japan’s Youth Exchange Program and Singapore’s Youth Leadership Program. (RMN/PIA Negros Oriental)
