Bomb identification and detection seminar held in Bacolod City
Bacolod City (20 November) -- Policemen assigned in the 31 police stations and the four Provincial Mobile Groups in Negros Occidental underwent a one-say seminar on Bomb Identification and Detection held at Camp Alfredo Montelibano, Brgy. Estefania, Bacolod City.
The seminar aims to enhance the participant's knowledge and skills in bomb threat cases.
Police Superintendent Armando Tubongbanua, deputy provincial director for operations of NOPPO, lectured on the different kinds of bombs such as improvised explosive devices (IEDs), vintage bombs and grenades to police personnel.
Senior Superintendent Manuel Felix, Neg. Occ. PNP provincial director said that the seminar will keep NOPPO policemen updated and knowledgeable in times of bomb threats and incidents whenever their services will be needed. (PIA/cad) [top]
