30,000 town residents set to receive PhilHealth cards
Ilagan, Isabela (17 November) -- Some thirty thousand residents from ten municipalities of Isabela are scheduled to receive PhilHealth Cards tomorrow from Governor Ma. Gracia cielo M. Padaca at the capitol's amphitheater.
The giving of PhilHealth Cards is a regular program of the provincial government in coordination with the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHILHEALTH) especially to indigent families.
Gov Padaca said that about 30 thousand indigents from ten localities will personally receive the health cards which are essential during times of illness.
Padaca said that since she assumed the leadership in the province she has long been giving health cards in partnership with PhilHealth to needy indigent families.
The lady governor said that she wanted all Isabelinos to be covered by health benefits in order that they will have something to use anytime they are hospitalized. (PIA Isabela) [top]
