Tagalog News: Sinag Team nagtagumpay sa Australia

Koronadal City (8 January) -- Ang pagsisikap ni Pangulong Gloria Macapagal Arroyo na mapaunlad ang solar power sa bansa ay nagsisimula ng makamit kasabay ng pagtatagumpay ng Sinag solar-powered car, ang kauna-unahang entry ng Pilipinas sa World Solar Challenge na ginanap noong Oktubre ng nakaraang taon sa Australia.

Lubos naman ang pasasalamat ni Former Energy Secretary at kasalukuyang Philippine Solar Car Challenge Society Inc. Chairman Vince Perez sa suportang ibinigay ng Pangulo sa Sinag Team at ang patuloy na pagpapaunlad nito sa mga indigenous at renewable sources ng enerhiya sapagkat isa umano itong solusyon sa di mapigil na pagtaas ng presyo ng langis sa pandaigdigang merkado.

Ikinatuwa naman ng Pangulo ang tagumpay na nakamit ng mga ito at nagpaabot ng pag-asang makikilahok muli ang grupo sa susunod na taon na may panibagong likhang solar-powered car. (Lgtomas/PIA 12) [top]
