Scientology volunteer minister opens yellow tents in Baguio convention center

Baguio City (26 January) -- On Thursday morning 9:00am, January 31, the Scientology Volunteer Ministers' International Goodwill Tour will hold a launching event in Baguio Convention Center, their "Something Can Be Done About It" yellow tents are there to invite anyone who are interested to join them.

The City Mayor of Baguio who supports the grand activity together with the City Fire Marshal from Baguio Fire Station and the Tourism officer Mr. Benedito Alhambra are gracing the occasion.

To address the drugs and poverty problems in the society, the Scientology Volunteer Minister Corps offers to assist in improving the lifestyle of the populace in line with the program of the government to alleviate poverty and depression in Baguio.

In order to reach more people in the Philippines and introduce them to the program, the Scientology Volunteer Ministers Corps visits Baguio as its fourth location, to make available these tools to solve the problems of disaster and every day living that we all face. All the courses being offered which will teach them the tools and skills are provided for free to attendees.

Scientology Volunteer Minister Corps delivered spiritual relief to the Bicol region in the Philippines during Typhoon Reming in November 2006, the technology researched and developed by Mr. L. Ron Hubbard, which had been used many times over in almost all evacuation centers in the area. Their local Volunteer Ministers were on the site 4 days after the typhoon hit, training residents and helping hundreds overcome trauma and stress and stayed until the 1st week of February 2007.

Everyone who wants to learn new life skills is warmly welcomed to visit the Volunteer Minister yellow tent. Anyone can take a free course and can get one-on-one assistance to address whatever troubles they might be facing. The displays clearly show visitors the solutions which they can learn, and the free seminars are available to help them understand how to apply the answers to their own lives and, in turn, to the lives of those around them.

If you are interested in finding out more about their training or working with the Scientology Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tour in Philippines, contact Mr. Charlie Wang, Cell: 09162526797 or visit http://www.volunteerministers.org. (PIA) [top]
