Davao City wins 2007 NNC National CROWN Award

Davao City (22 September) -- The National Nutrition Council hailed Davao City's implementation of its nutrition program as it won the 2007 National CROWN Award..
NNC regional head, Ma. Teresa Ungson, in an official communication, congratulated Mayor Duterte for the City's Consistent Regional Outstanding Winner in Nutrition.
No wonder, it bags the 2007 National CROWN Award.
"We are truly pleased with the exemplary performance of your city in the implementation and management of the City Nutrition Program," the official letter of Ms. Ungson to the Mayor stated.
The NNC is officially inviting Mayor Duterte and all members of the City Nutrition Committee to the National Nutrition Awarding ceremony set October 26, 2007 at 9:00am to be held at the Philippine Army Officer's clubhouse, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
Invited to join the National Awarding ceremony are: City Health Officials and staff; and CNC council members to include: CHO Dr. Josephine Villafuerte, City Nutrition action officer; Venue Millana, Nutrition Officer and coordinator; Lyneth Demaisip, Nutrition officer; Rosita Mahipus, OIC HRMO; Rose B. Palacio of the PIA (PIA); Susan Socorro Pepito, DepEd; Erlinda Orbeta, Agriculturist Office; Imelda Fordaliza, DILG; Sr. Ma. Consilio Bernadette Laus, RVM; Dr. Gay Zaragoza-Pallar, Veterinarian's Office; Cheri May Tila, DOST; Nemia Lumaino, DTI; Achilles Rallos, Kiwanis club International; Sarah Bacalanmo, Budget office; and Florencia Cayon, City Planning Office.
