Lapus commended the Municipality of Tagkawayan, Quezon for the inauguration of its newly-constructed three-storey school building, which represents DepEd's commitment to improve basic education. "Let this new structure symbolize our strong commitment and determination to pursue and promote better basic education nationwide. This new building will help institute a learning community where our youth will gain access to quality learning they truly deserve," Lapus said. Tagkawayan Municipal High School currently has a total of 32 instructional rooms, serving a total population of 1,207 high school students. (DepEd) |

Light to moderate winds coming from the East and Southeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and coming from the East and Northeast over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas. |
