Feature: Tagum becoming RP's music center

    Tagum City (9 February) -- Tagum City is heading its way towards becoming the country's music center with the coming in of musical performers of national and international credence.
    In a press conference Tuesday, City of Tagum Tourism Council chairperson Alma Uy said this year's press conference will be bringing in the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra which is on its first time to perform in Mindanao. (+)

Comelec assures ARMM voters a clean election

    Davao City (10 February) -- The Commission on Elections (Comelec) ARMM is all set for the conduct of 2010 May Elections given that automation is no longer new to the voters in the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) after a local election was staged in the area last 2008.
    Comelec Maguindanao election officer Maceda Lidasan Abu gave another briefing to some government and private sectors as initiated by the Citizens Coalition for ARMM Electoral Reforms (Citizens CARE) yesterday (February 9) at the Grand Regal Hotel, this city. (+)

    Lungsod ng Kutabato (9 February) -- Pinasalamatan ng government panel chair Ambassador Rafael Seguis ang grupo ni North Cotabato Vice Governor Manny Piņol sa paghatid ng mga dokumentong naglalaman ng kanilang panig hinggil sa usaping pangkapayapaan sa pagitan ng gobyerno at ng Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).
    Personal na pumunta ang grupo ni Piņol na kinabibilangan nina board members Romeo Arana at Ronaldo Pader sa Kuala Lumpur upang ipaabot ng personal kay Seguis ang dala nilang mga dokumento. (+)
